About The Science Behind the Performance

Getting stronger in the gym does not always translate to runs or wickets. Most athletes struggle because they build muscle without considering biomechanics or the specific energy demands of a 50-over match. I focus on rotational power for your bat swing and hip mobility for your bowling action, ensuring your gym work directly supports your on-field performance rather than just adding mass.

We move beyond generic sets and reps. My coaching is built on data, from biomechanical screening to monitoring your acute-to-chronic workload ratios to prevent stress fractures. Whether you are prepping for a tournament or in the off-season, we use custom periodization to manage fatigue so you peak exactly when you need to.

The Science of Your Performance

  • Biomechanical Screening: I analyze your running gait, stride length, and knee drive to identify energy leaks. If your mechanics are inefficient, you are wasting energy that should be going into your shot or your delivery.
  • Load Management: This is the difference between an athlete and a player. I track your training volume to ensure you are recovered for practice, which is why my squads see zero injuries. We do not just train hard; we train smart.
  • Cricket-Specific Power: We use Landmine exercises and medicine ball throws to build the rotational power you need for batting, and resisted sprinting for the explosive acceleration required in fielding.
