My Philosophy on Real Strength & Combat Performance
I don't train people to look good for social media. I train them to be durable, capable, and battle-ready. Here is the reality of my own journey, my setbacks, and why I coach the way I do.
Men's mental health is majorly overlooked. I've battled depression my whole life, and for me, a circle of friends, fitness, and combat sports have been my anchors. I'm sharing this in the hope it helps another man not give up.
A lesson from a recent kidnapping video: the world doesn't owe you shit. You need to be able to defend yourself. It's not a luxury, it's a life skill for both men and women.
After years of competing at a lower weight due to a rib fracture, I'm finally moving back up to my 80kg beast mode weight. As I get older, retaining and growing muscle is the priority.
A moment of rest between sets. The journey back to my 80kg fighting weight is about feeling strong and capable, not just looking photogenic.
Pushing through a cable fly. Every workout is a step towards rebuilding the strength I had and getting back to rolling with people of all weight classes.
An off-camp strength cycle is different from in-camp. This is where we build the long-term foundation of power that will carry us through the fight.
A simple tip for a better butt if you don't go to the gym: walk 10k steps and do 100 bodyweight squats daily. The basics are magic, especially for beginners.
I conducted a corporate self-defense workshop for Women's Day. I have immense respect for those willing to be their own hero and learn what it takes to not be a victim.
This is me. A K11-trained coach and nutritionist with a decade of experience, a passion for combat sports, and a commitment to helping people achieve real, sustainable results.
About My Personal Journey & Philosophy
Most fitness advice focuses entirely on aesthetics, but chasing a 'look' is the quickest path to burnout and injury. My philosophy is built on 'Kaizen'—constant, incremental improvement. Whether you are dealing with past injuries like my own MCL tears or you are just tired of 'influencer' diet trends, I strip away the noise. We work on progressive overload and science-backed nutrition to build a body that serves you in real life, not just for a filtered photo.
I spent a decade navigating the reality of being an athlete while battling osteoporosis, 26 fractures, and depression. When I say I don't believe in shortcuts, I mean it because I have personally paid the price for bad training decisions.
The Science of Performance
I am a 'scientific nerd' and analyst by nature. I don't guess; I calculate. My coaching, whether it is for professional MMA fighters or someone trying to lose fat, relies on:
- Progressive Overload: We track lifts. We track progress. If you aren't getting stronger, you aren't training; you are just sweating for fun.
- Evidence-Based Nutrition: I ignore fads like 'daal mein protein' myths. We focus on bio-availability and macronutrient precision to hit your goals, whether it is diabetes reversal or getting competition-ready.
- Mental Resilience: Fitness is a mental game. I have been through the ringer, and I teach my clients how to keep showing up when the wheels fall off.
My Commitment to You
If you join my program, do not expect me to be your cheerleader. I am your coach, your analyst, and your reality check. I tell you exactly what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. My goal is to build a body that is bulletproof—capable of surviving injuries, handling daily stress, and performing when it matters. If you are here to dabble, go find an influencer. If you are here to work and see what your body is actually capable of, let's talk.
Pushkaraj Shirke
I am a K11-trained coach, but mostly, I am someone who has lived the grind. From battling osteoporosis and recovering from 26 fractures to commentating for the UFC, my approach is about long-term durability and performance, not gym vanity. If you want a no-nonsense partner to help you build real strength, let's talk.
