About this collection
Expect to work hard. I do not believe in quick fixes, so come prepared for 6 to 12 hours of rigorous training over a weekend. We focus on specific compositions like Kalinga Narthana, and I suggest you arrive well-rested because we get straight to the technical drills.
My workshops are designed to bridge the gap between passion and practice. When Adithya PV and I travel to cities like Los Angeles, Cologne, Paris, or Zurich, we aren't there for a casual session. We structure these intensives to cover the full spectrum of Bharatanatyam, from the foundational mechanics of Nritta to the expressive depth of Abhinaya.
The Curriculum
We adapt the content to the group. In some cities, we run foundational workshops focused on Adavu technique and rhythm. In others, we dive into specific compositions, such as a Varnam or Keerthana, where we break down the storytelling elements layer by layer. Because these sessions are time-bound, the focus is on practical takeaway skills that you can continue to refine long after the workshop ends.

We partner with local studios and organizers to host these events. If you are attending a multi-day bootcamp, expect a full schedule. We provide the structure and the guidance, but your progress depends on the same tenacity you bring to your daily practice. I am Parshwanath. I believe dance is a conversation between tradition and the present, and I am just as happy teaching in a studio in Bangalore as I am in a hall in Los Angeles. My workshops are where we stop talking about dance and actually get to work.
