Bharatanatyam Student Arangetrams and Debuts
Witnessing a student's journey from their first steps to their Rangapravesham is everything. We train dancers to own their stage.
I am thrilled to present the Arangetrams of four talented students from our Antarshaala online program. This video is an invitation to support them as they make their debut performances across the U.S.
Announcing the Rangapravesha of our student Saketh Rao. It is a joy to see a budding artist take the stage, and I invite everyone in the Thousand Oaks, CA area to come and encourage him.
I am proud to have directed "Mitra," a new work presented by my student Suvin Prasad. In this video, I discuss the themes of the production, an eternal love story that challenges societal norms.

About this collection
Getting to a Rangapravesha isn't just about learning the moves; it’s about the mental grit. At Upadhye School, we push you through the Antar Shaala training first, where you build the foundation, so when you finally step onto the stage for your debut, it’s not just muscle memory—it’s yours.
The journey to a Rangapravesha (debut performance) is a marathon, not a sprint. We don't believe in shortcuts. Whether you are part of our online Antar Shaala program or training in-person at our NRI Layout studio in Bengaluru, the focus remains on the Nritya, Kalike, and Karma—dance, learning, and action.
For students preparing for their big stage moment, we emphasize both the technical precision of adavus and the depth of abhinaya. We have helped students debut globally, from the U.S. to major cities in India, ensuring they aren't just performing steps, but telling a story. If you are serious about your artistic journey, expect discipline, some rigorous conditioning, and yes, some memes along the way. It is about building a solid repertoire that stands the test of time, not just for a single show. We guide you through the process, from selecting the right compositions to mastering the stagecraft required to hold an audience's attention.

I don't believe in waiting for someone else's approval. I built my own stages, and I help my students build theirs. Whether you are learning online through Antar Shaala or in our Bengaluru studio, my goal is to help you find your own voice. Let’s train, sweat, and make art with fire.
