Explore our recent projects where kids turn ideas into reality. From mechanical models to creative art, we provide the tools and space for real-world learning.

This is what pure, creative joy looks like! We believe in getting a little messy to make something amazing. This happy creator is showing off her paint-covered hands in front of our studio's handprint wall, a testament to all the fun we have.

Our little astronomers proudly displaying the solar system models they built and painted themselves. This popular STEAM workshop combines learning about planets with hands-on assembly and creative painting.

From assembly to artistry! This video shows the journey of building a wooden fighter jet model, where kids learn basic engineering principles and then paint their creations. Look at the pride on this young pilot's face as he shows off his finished model and matching drawing.

Here is a glimpse into our summer camp where we empower kids with real skills. Under careful supervision, our little engineers learn to use tools like a jigsaw, bringing their wooden projects to life from scratch.

The magic of science and art combined in our kaleidoscope-making workshop. Children assemble their own wooden kaleidoscopes and then are amazed by the beautiful patterns they can create, learning about light and reflection along the way.

Weaving is a wonderful activity that teaches patience, patterns, and fine motor skills. In this workshop, kids learn the entire process, from setting up the loom to weaving their own colorful fabric designs.

Discover the calming and intricate art of dot mandalas. This specialty workshop is great for older kids and even parents, focusing on precision, symmetry, and color theory to create stunning decorative pieces.

About this collection

At Little Wings, we believe if you can build it, you can understand it. Whether it is assembling a wooden fighter jet or sewing a puppet, kids use actual tools—saws, sandpaper, and glue—to finish their projects. They never leave empty-handed, and they always walk away with the confidence that they made something real, by themselves.

A Different Kind of Classroom

We built this studio in North Bangalore (BEL Layout) specifically to move away from the 'boring classroom' dynamic. Here, our workshops are intentionally messy. When kids are working with paint, wood, or electronics, a bit of mess is usually a sign that they are fully engaged in the process.

How We Approach STEAM

We combine the engineering side of building with the creative side of design. A child might learn the physics of an axle while building a rubber-band car, but they also learn about aesthetics when they decide exactly how to paint and customize it.

  • Mechanical & Engineering: We guide children through the assembly of laser-cut MDF models, teaching them to handle tools like screwdrivers and sandpaper correctly.
  • Creative Arts: From fluid art and dot mandalas to puppet making, we focus on helping children express their unique style through different media.
  • Real Skills: We keep our batches small so that every child gets the attention they need to handle the tools safely and finish their project to a high standard.

Who This Is For

Our workshops are designed for ages 4 to 14. We want to be that place where your child asks, 'Can we go back tomorrow?' We focus on project-based learning where the goal isn't just a finished item, but the skills and confidence built during the process.

I'm Rahul, and I built this studio because I was the kid who needed to pull things apart to see how they worked. With my partner Daniel, we have created a space in North Bangalore where children get messy, build real robots and wooden models, and finally see their own ideas take flight.
