About this collection
Every session we host, whether it's building a DIY electric bell or diving into a food-themed folktale, is designed to be tactile and messy. We don't just lecture, we provide all materials—from clay and paints to DC motors and wires—so your child walks out with a physical creation they built themselves.
At ThinkBox, we believe that learning sticks when children get their hands dirty. Our workshops, based out of our Malleshpalya hub, are built to move away from passive screen time and toward active discovery.
Why Our Workshops Are Different
We keep our batches small, typically 10 to 15 kids. This allows us to focus on individual attention rather than just managing a crowd. Whether it is a 60-minute storytelling session or an intensive 2-week STEM camp, our facilitators are there to guide, not just instruct.
What You Will Find on Our Calendar
- Science & STEM: We go beyond theory. Kids work with multimeters, breadboards, and motors to build functioning models like traffic lights or hydraulic lifts. They learn about voltage and circuitry by actually making things work.
- Creative & Literary: Our storytelling sessions often incorporate puppets and paper theater, like Kamishibai. We explore poetry, doodling, and even edible art, ensuring kids find a creative outlet that suits them.
- Life Skills: We tackle important topics like 'Good Touch, Bad Touch' and screen-time management. These sessions are crafted to be age-appropriate, safe, and empowering, helping children navigate real-world situations with confidence.
Joining In
Most of our sessions include all the craft materials and project components in the fee, so there is no extra shopping for you to do. Children take home what they create, whether it is a clay idol, a macrame keychain, or a working electric bell. If you are joining us online for our 'ThinkBox Sparks' series, we ensure the experience is just as immersive, bringing the fun of our library straight to your home.
ThinkBox
At ThinkBox, we believe learning sticks when kids get their hands dirty and their voices heard. We are not a quiet library; we are a space for noisy, messy, and joyful discovery where every workshop is a chance to build something new.
