Our Creative Adda: Artistic Collaborations and Community
For me, art is rarely a solo act. This collection gathers my favorite moments with mentors, colleagues, and the wonderful talents I have the privilege to work with.
A candid selfie after the inaugural concert of the Jackfruit Festival with my fellow musicians and the respected Shubha Mudgal ma'am. It was a fulfilling and heartwarming evening celebrating the talent of the Srishti kids.
Another happy group picture after the 'Sunny Symphony' concert. The smiles on everyone's faces capture the joy and success of the evening. It truly takes a village to put on a show like this.
Posing with the esteemed Shubha Mudgal ma'am and my wonderful team. Her guidance as the festival director was invaluable, and it was an honour to work under her curation.
A selfie with my talented colleague. The bonds we form while working on artistic projects are truly special.
With my core team, Meghana and Prathima. These two wonderful ladies were instrumental in preparing the children of Srishti Special Academy for their big performance. I am so grateful for their dedication.
A photo of our talented keyboardist during the concert. I am always thankful for the incredible musicians who accompany me and elevate every performance.
An afternoon filled with warmth, laughter, and stories with legends of Sugama Sangeetha. Sharing a meal and conversation with these senior artists is always a learning experience.
About this collection
My home is often a buzzing 'adda' where artists meet for chai and conversation. These informal gatherings are where ideas for new plays and music collaborations are born, and I am always looking for more people to join these creative discussions.
Collaboration is at the heart of everything I do. Whether I am working with the students of Srishti Special Academy or spending an afternoon learning from Sugama Sangeetha legends, the focus is always on shared knowledge. These visual glimpses are not just performance photos. They are proof of the community we build.
When we talk about an 'Adda' session, it is about creating a space for art to thrive. Sometimes this involves a masterclass on Bhavageethe, where we dive into the nuances of Kannada poetry. Other times, it means hosting artists for a chat or putting together a performance for the Jackfruit Festival. My goal is to make these interactions accessible, welcoming, and open to anyone with a love for the arts.
If you are planning an event or looking for a workshop that moves beyond a standard lecture, I bring my team of musicians and storytellers to you. We focus on storytelling that includes puppetry, music, and deep dives into folk traditions. Each session is tailored to your audience, ensuring that we respect the art form while keeping it relevant for today.
Pallavi MD
I am Pallavi, and I believe art is best when shared. My work is not about me standing alone on a stage, but about the connections I make with everyone from the children at Srishti Special Academy to the legends of Sugama Sangeetha. If you want to build a space for stories and song, let's talk.
