Highlights from My Musical and Theatrical Journey

Sharing the stage with the respected Padma Shri Manjamma Jogati was a truly blessed moment. This performance at the 62nd Bengaluru Ganesh Utsava was a musical exploration of Karnataka's rich folk traditions, a project that involved months of dedicated research and collaboration with incredible artists.

I am inviting you to a Sugama Sangeetha workshop I am facilitating. These sessions are a welcoming space for anyone who loves Kannada poetry and music, regardless of your musical background. We will sing together, discuss the works of legendary composers, and share in the simple joy of music.

At home, I often find myself lost in the world of Bhavageethe. Here is a rendition of Gopalakrishna Adiga’s celebrated poem, 'Yaava Mohana'. These sessions are my personal exploration of the deep emotions and philosophies embedded in Kannada poetry.

I am humbled and grateful to have received the Karnataka Women Achievers' Award for Excellence in Music. This recognition is not just for me, but for all the poets, composers, and collaborators who have been a part of my artistic journey.

A glimpse into an interactive storytelling session for children. Using puppets, music, and a lot of imagination, we create a magical world where kids can explore stories and express themselves. This was part of a wonderfully chaotic and joyful birthday celebration.

It was an honour to serve on the jury for the Deccan Herald Changemakers 2024 awards. Being part of panels and discussions that celebrate positive community impact is a responsibility I hold dear. It is inspiring to meet people who are truly changing the world.
