About Storytelling & Speaking Engagements
Why I Love Sharing Stories
Art is never just a show for me. It’s always about connecting with you, whether we’re swapping tales with little ones or going deep into poetry and music. I want every session to feel like a safe adda (hangout) where we learn, feel, and maybe even discover a bit of ourselves.
Stories & Songs for Kids
- I get a real kick out of interactive children’s storytelling. Sometimes we add music, sometimes puppets, sometimes we just laugh a lot.
- My sessions are made for everyone, including kids with special needs. I prep with teachers and families so each child feels seen and included.
- Music and stories mix in my space, helping us talk about big feelings like loss or hope in a gentle way.
For Adults Who Love the Arts
- I run Bhavageethe poetry workshops and sing Sugama Sangeetha. No training needed, just curiosity.
- I share stories from working with legends and explore everything from film music to theatre in my masterclasses.
- Sometimes it’s just a group of us, diving into Kannada poetry or chatting about new plays.
On Stage & In Community
- I’ve given musical keynote presentations, joined art panels, and helped pick winners for awards that matter.
- Every gig, big or small, is a kalatmaka jawabdari (artistic responsibility) I take seriously. I spend months researching sometimes, always bringing heart and respect to the stage.

My Story
Hi, I’m Pallavi. I sing, act, direct, make films—mostly, I tell stories with whoever wants to join in. My house is always buzzing, chai and charcha (tea and chat) everywhere, and my daughter Kaadu in the thick of it, dreaming up wild cakes or judging my stories. I’ve learnt from legends of Sugama Sangeetha, and awards like Vachana Sahityashri remind me this art is bigger than me. Blending life and art, old and new, is what keeps me going.
My Work
All things art—singing, acting, directing, composing - I do classical, folk, world music, even ancient poetry fusion music. Also, storytelling for kids and talks on art.
Collaboration, always - Best art happens with people. My shows are a team effort—no lone wolves here.
Music for a cause - I love inclusive music projects, charity gigs, and working with young talents from Srishti Special Academy.
Old poetry, new beats - I bring ancient, progressive poetry alive with modern tunes—think Basavanna meeting rock and jazz.
Genre-bending theatre shows - Expect intimate, multi-sensory experiences—music, poetry, movement all mixed up.
