A glimpse into the history, lineage, and symbols that define our traditional Shorin-ryu Shorinkan practice here in Bengaluru.

About Additional Media

This collection captures the symbols and moments defining our practice of Shorin-ryu Shorinkan. The emblem displayed here represents our direct lineage to Okinawa, a constant reminder for every student that our training is built on a foundation of humility, technical precision, and a history that spans over three decades.

Our federation is more than just a place to train. We are a direct extension of the Honbu Dojo in Okinawa, preserving the integrity of traditional Okinawan martial arts. The Shorin-ryu Shorinkan style is known for its practicality and efficiency, focusing on disciplined movement rather than flashiness. When you look at our archives or visit our dojo, you see the result of constant learning—not just from my own time spent in Japan, but from every student who has dedicated themselves to the path of the black belt.

We teach more than just empty-hand techniques. Our curriculum includes Okinawan Kobudo, where we master tools like the Bo staff and Tonfa to understand leverage, distance, and timing. Whether you are looking for self-defense training in Bengaluru or aiming to understand the deeper philosophy of karate-do, our programs are structured to guide you from your first session through to advanced Dan grading.

Every image in our library tells a part of that story. From the formal award ceremonies where students earn their rank, to the intensive seminars that sharpen our kumite tactics, we document our journey to honor the teachers who paved the way. If you are serious about learning a martial art that builds confidence and character, I invite you to step onto the mats and begin your own path with us.
