Hand-Painted Home & Gift Items
Bring art into your everyday routine with hand-painted decor that blends traditional Indian styles with modern utility. Whether you need thoughtful gifts or a splash of color for your own space, these pieces are made to be used and enjoyed.
This is what 500 hand-painted and digitally edited Gond art coasters look like! This was a massive bulk order for wedding favors, and I was so happy to send these little pieces of Indian art to the US.
A coaster in action! They are printed on MDF, laser-cut, and the top surface is waterproof, making them as practical as they are beautiful.
A closer look at four of the coaster designs, featuring birds, a cow, a peacock, and deer in the vibrant Gond style.
Four more coaster designs, showcasing turtles, fish, elephants, and a tiger. Each one is a miniature work of art.
My hand-painted Madhubani bookmarks are perfect for any book lover. Here they are with a copy of "The Psychology of Money."

This pink bookmark features a trio of birds on a branch, painted in a colorful Madhubani style.
About this collection
When I create bulk pieces like coasters, I ensure they are not just visually vibrant but built for daily use. I use high-quality MDF bases with a waterproof varnish finish, so you do not have to worry about spills or wear. Whether you are looking for 500 personalized wedding favors or a single hand-painted bookmark to match your current read, I focus on the little details that make each item feel like a handmade gift rather than a mass-produced product.
My approach to home and gift items is simple: art should not be restricted to canvases hidden away in galleries. It belongs on your coffee table, in your books, and on your walls.
Why these pieces matter
I blend traditional Indian art forms like Gond and Madhubani with modern color palettes to create items that fit contemporary homes.
- Coasters: These are my go-to for functional art. I take hand-painted Gond art, digitize it, and print it onto sturdy MDF. The waterproof top coat keeps them looking new even after hundreds of cups of chai.
- Bookmarks: These started my journey five years ago. I love using seed paper and heavy cardstock, painting them with intricate Madhubani or Mandala patterns. They are small, perfect tokens of appreciation for book lovers.
- Rann ke Rang A5 Art: Inspired by the vibrant craft culture of Kutch, these small framed pieces use mirror work and geometric patterns. They are easy to place on any desk or shelf, adding a bright, cultural touch to your decor.
Ordering & Customization
Most of my work here is highly customizable. If you are planning an event—be it a wedding, an engagement, or a corporate gifting project—I am happy to discuss bulk orders. I can adjust the themes to match your event's color scheme or specific motifs (though I must remind you, I strictly do not draw human faces!).
I ship across India and internationally to countries like the US and Germany. Since these items are either hand-painted or finished with care, please give me a bit of lead time to create them for you. Let's chat about your ideas—I love working with new concepts.
Nidhi
I'm Nidhi, an architect by day and an artist by heart. I turn everyday items like coasters and bookmarks into canvases for Indian folk art because I believe art should be a part of your daily routine. I do not paint faces, but I absolutely love creating vibrant patterns that make you smile.
