This is what I mean by functional strength. We use tools like tires to build raw power that you can use in your everyday life. It’s tough, but the feeling of flipping that tire is unbeatable.
Fitness here is not just about the body, but also the mind. I practice and teach yogasanas like this handstand to build core strength, balance, and mental focus.
Your safety is your responsibility, and I am here to teach you how. This is from our self-defense seminar for women, empowering them with the skills and confidence to protect themselves.
We take our training outdoors whenever we can. Fresh air and open space add a different kind of energy to our workouts, from sprints to partner drills.
About this collection
Every session on our puzzle mats is built on the philosophy of 'karna hai toh karna hai' (if you have to do it, you have to do it). You won't find fancy AC machines or ego-driven posturing here; instead, expect to work with tires, battle ropes, and partner drills that build actual, usable strength for your daily life.
At Om Jiu-Jitsu, we blend ancient wisdom with modern combat science. Our training isn't about gym aesthetics. It’s about building a body that performs when it matters, and a mind that stays calm under pressure.
Why we train the way we do
- Functional Conditioning: We move away from isolation exercises. You’ll be flipping tires, battling with ropes, and mastering calisthenics. This develops agility and power that translates to real-world movement.
- MMA & Combat Sports: Our Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and Muay Thai programs are designed for control. We emphasize leverage and technique over brute force, making it accessible for everyone, regardless of age or experience.
- The 'Warrior' Mindset: Fitness is mental. That is why we integrate Pranayama and meditation post-workout. We want you to leave the studio not just physically exhausted, but mentally clear.
- Anti-Bullying & Kids' Programs: Having faced bullying myself, I designed our kids' sessions to be about more than just fighting. We use Kabaddi, obstacle courses, and tag to build confidence, motor skills, and the awareness to de-escalate conflict.
