Materiality plays a central role in our design. We prefer natural textures—such as raw stone, untreated wood, and breathable lime-wash finishes—that ground the space and reduce visual noise. By incorporating shadow-gap ceilings and architectural cove lighting, we modulate the intensity of light to suit different states of activity, from the focused energy required for a workout to the subdued calm needed for meditation or sauna use.

Spatial planning is equally critical. For home spas, we address moisture management and ventilation as primary design constraints, ensuring longevity without compromising the aesthetic. For yoga studios or home gyms, we prioritize flow and orientation, often using floor-to-ceiling partitions to maintain a connection with the home while providing the necessary seclusion. Our goal is to synthesize the clinical requirements of a wellness space with the warmth of a residence, ensuring these zones feel like a natural extension of your home rather than an isolated utility room.
