Kids and Toddler Swimming Classes in Bangalore
Getting your child comfortable in the water is a gift for life. From our parent-toddler bonding sessions to group classes for kids, we focus on safety, water confidence, and making sure every splash is filled with fun.
Look at our little 2 and 3-year-old Tadpoles showing off their water safety skills. We teach them everything from starfish floats and crab crawls to diving for toys, all in a fun, controlled environment with their parents.
This confident three-year-old is doggy-paddling with a noodle to her mom while blowing bubbles. In our parent-toddler sessions, we focus on building water confidence and safety skills in the most fun way possible.
Two-year-old Tara shows incredible water confidence and safety skills, all with the cutest smile. We teach toddlers safe entries, doggy paddle, and back floats, and we love seeing parents' excited reactions.
Meet six-year-old Aarvi. She wakes up at 4:30 AM during her school holidays just because she loves swimming and wants to train with the older kids. Her dedication is so inspiring. Excellent. High five.
We make learning fun by getting kids to play games like underwater basketball. They learn to control their breath and get comfortable submerging as they dive to put the ball in the net.
Our kids' classes are all about having a great time while learning. Here, a group of young swimmers plays a game with their coach at our covered, temperature-controlled pool in Koramangala.
Want to build water confidence? Watch our 5 and 6-year-old swimmers having fun after class with front flips, back somersaults, and handstands. Water play is so important for building skills and a love for the water.
About this collection
Our in-water teaching approach is what makes the difference. For toddlers and beginners, our coaches do not just instruct from the pool deck; they are right there in the water with your child. This hands-on presence builds trust immediately, helping little ones overcome any initial hesitation and start learning essential water safety skills, like floating and safe entries, in a supportive environment.
Building Confidence from the First Splash
Learning to swim is about more than just technique; it is about building a relationship with the water. Our program is designed to move your child through clear, achievable milestones.
- Parent-Toddler (1-4 Years): These sessions are all about bonding. With one parent in the water, toddlers learn water safety, breath control, and basic movement through nursery rhymes and games. It is the perfect introduction to remove any fear before they join independent classes.
- Kids Group Classes (4+ Years): As children move into group settings, we focus on small ratios (1:8). This ensures that every child gets the attention they need to master strokes—Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly—at their own pace.
Safety and Expertise
All our coaches are AUSTSWIM certified and undergo annual training in CPR and First Aid. We prioritize safety at every step, whether it is teaching a child how to safely enter and exit the pool or monitoring deep-water zones. Our 'Tadpole' to 'Marlin' certification program gives kids clear goals, allowing them to earn badges and celebrate their progress along the way.
Where to Swim
We operate across Bangalore, including Koramangala, Hennur, Whitefield, and Malleshwaram. Most of our partner venues offer covered, temperature-controlled pools, so you do not have to worry about the rain or cold weather. Whether you are looking for a weekend batch to fit around school or a weekday slot, we have a venue that works for your family.
Our instructors keep the sessions light and filled with fun drills, like underwater basketball or breath-control games, because when kids are having fun, they learn faster.
Nisha Millet Swimming Academy
After years of racing at the highest level, I realized the biggest win is not a medal, but the confidence a child gets when they first learn to float. We built these classes to make sure every child—from our youngest tadpoles to our competitive swimmers—feels safe, happy, and excited to jump in.
