About First Splashes: Toddler & Infant Programs
For our youngest learners, your active participation is key. Our weekend parent-child sessions require one parent to be in the water, serving as your child’s anchor while they get comfortable with submersion and basic floating. It is less about swimming laps and more about building a bond with the water through songs, games, and gentle guidance from our coaches, ensuring that every session feels like play rather than a rigid lesson.
Building Water Confidence Together
At Sasthapools, we believe the best time to start is now. Our 'First Splashes' program is specifically crafted for infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 5 years. By combining parental presence with our structured, play-based methods, we remove the fear often associated with the pool.
What to Expect
- Parent-Child Bonding: One parent is required to be in the pool with the child. This creates a secure environment, allowing your little one to explore the water while feeling safe in your arms.
- Play-Based Learning: We use toys, songs, and gentle games to introduce water habituation. Whether it's learning to blow bubbles, practicing safe wall-holding, or getting used to gentle submersion, we keep the mood light and fun.
- Safety First: Our pool environments are maintained to high hygiene standards. For infants, swim diapers are mandatory to ensure the pool remains a clean, safe space for all our swimmers.
Practical Details
- Timing: These are weekend-only sessions, typically held between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM to accommodate family schedules.
- Locations: We host these sessions at multiple pools across Bengaluru, including our facilities in Brookefield, Bellandur, and Yelahanka.
- Progression: Once your child builds confidence and mastery over basic floatation, our team will guide you on when they are ready to transition to our independent Kids Beginner Classes.
