A powerful moment from our production 'Krishnaa - Fire to Frost'. Through abhinaya, or expressive dance, I explore the profound journey of Draupadi, from a life of fire and vengeance to her eventual quest for peace.

This duet performance explores the devotional love between Meera and her beloved Krishna. Through Kathak, we tell stories that connect the human to the divine, creating an experience of shared spirituality with the audience.

The 'chakkar', or spin, is a thrilling hallmark of Kathak dance. This clip from an earlier performance showcases the energy and technical precision we bring to the stage, celebrating the pure joy of rhythm and movement.

We love to innovate while staying rooted in tradition. This scene from 'Krishnaa - Fire to Frost' combines classical dance with aerial silk artistry to depict Arjuna's incredible skill during Draupadi's Swayamvara, creating a truly breathtaking visual.

Dance for me is a deep, internal journey. In solo performances like this 'Ekaharya' presentation, I immerse myself completely in the emotion of the character, using subtle expression to convey a universe of feeling.

A celebration of life and color! This performance, 'Rang-Se-Bahurang', captures the joyful spirit of Holi. With our Abhinava Dance Company, we create vibrant group choreographies that fill the stage with energy and harmony.

'Samanvaya' represents a beautiful confluence of two distinct classical styles, Bharatanrityam and Kathak. We love exploring how different traditions can harmonize and create a new, seamless aesthetic, showcasing the shared soul of Indian dance.

This is my family, my pride. Here we are, over 200 of my students from three branches, united on stage for our 19th annual day, 'Nrithya Milana'. This picture captures the scale and spirit of our large group Bharatanatyam performances.7
Performing for Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala's Naadaneerajanam was a divine experience for us. This performance featured a custom choreography depicting the story of Ramayana, a service we offer for thematic events.
I am so proud to see my senior students command the stage. Here is my disciple Vidushi Anushree Bhat in a classic Bharatanatyam pose during her solo recital for the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), showing the grace we nurture for solo and duet performances.

This is a moment of pure abandon from my performance "SARVASYA". For me, dance is a flight of the spirit, and this capture of an Eknath Abhanga at the Nirantaram Festival perfectly embodies that feeling of divinity on stage.10
Taking Bharatanatyam beyond the traditional stage into the open air. This moment of abandon, performing an Abhanga from Marathi poetry in London, shows how art can connect with us anywhere, transforming a public square into a sacred space.
Embodying the "Mothe Bhoot" or the great ghost from my production 'VitthāMāi' was a thrilling choreographic challenge. I drew inspiration from folk traditions like Bhoota Kola and Theyyam to bring this powerful, otherworldly character to life.
