Fitness & Active Retreats in the Coorg Mountains
Fitness doesn't stop at the gym door. Join me in the Coorg mountains for functional training, plantation walks, and a total reset of your daily routine.
A glimpse from one of my fitness retreats in Coorg. We mixed outdoor workouts, coffee plantation walks, planting saplings, and chilling in waterfalls. It's about refreshing and resetting your body and mind.
This physique isn't an accident; it's the result of years of consistent effort and clean living. My coaching philosophy is built on this principle of showing up every day, a lesson I share during my outdoor functional training sessions.
Discipline is the main ingredient. As this video shows me doing weighted sit-ups, the message is simple: 90% of success is just showing up and doing the work. I teach you to train for progress, not to impress.
Proving the 'train anywhere' philosophy at 12,500 feet in Ladakh. After a long bike ride, I'm doing Bulgarian split squats and push-ups to stay active. My retreats teach you how to use your environment for an effective workout.
This is a typical conditioning workout I program for my retreats, mixing strength and cardio. You can see me moving through front squats, dumbbell push presses, and overhead lunges to build all-around functional strength.
Finding balance, both in life and in a pistol squat. This single-leg exercise is a great test of strength, stability, and focus, all key elements we work on during my fitness coaching sessions here in the mountains.
This is the mindset behind my Toned Abs series. Fitness is a lifestyle, not a temporary resolution. It's about enduring the temporary pain of a workout for the permanent feeling of accomplishment.
About this collection
You won't find treadmills here. My retreats at the Manchalli estate are about functional movement using what we have: kettlebells, estate trails, and the natural terrain of the Brahmagiri mountains. Whether you are here for an intense 3-day boot camp or just looking to move better, you will be training in the same environment where I manage my coffee—no filters, just grit.
I started these retreats because I believe the gym is just one small part of being fit. When you train with me, we move out of the climate-controlled rooms and onto the land.
The 'Train Anywhere' Philosophy
My approach isn't about hitting specific machines for an hour. It is about building functional strength that carries over to your real life—whether that is hiking, carrying groceries, or just having the energy to get through a long day. We use kettlebells, bodyweight routines, and animal flow movements that you can replicate anywhere, even when you go back home.
A Typical Retreat Experience
When you join an active retreat here in Manchalli, you are not just getting a workout. We build your day around movement and recovery.
- Morning Sessions: We start with functional training, focusing on your form and movement patterns.
- Plantation Life: You get a real look at the coffee cycle. We walk the estate, check the Robusta plants, and understand the work that goes into every cup.
- Active Recovery: We use the mountains. That means hiking to Braveheart View Point, mountain biking on our estate trails, and finding time for stillness in the forest.
Why Coorg?
The environment matters. Training at altitude, breathing fresh air, and being surrounded by the Brahmagiri range changes your mindset. It forces you to disconnect from the digital noise and reconnect with what your body is actually capable of. You are eating healthy, home-cooked Coorgi meals and moving your body in a way that feels natural, not forced. If you are ready to stop looking for shortcuts and start putting in the work, this is where you do it.
