About Welcome to Nine Styles
When you walk into my studio, do not expect a typical showroom experience. It is just us, the fabric books, and a quiet space to figure out exactly what you need. Whether you have a clear vision for a sherwani or are just looking for a jacket that won't make you sweat, we will take the time to talk it through.
Most people walk into a tailor and get handed a catalog. At Nine, I do things differently. You will find yourself in my Defence Colony studio, surrounded by the fabric library I have built over twenty years. This is not a rush job.
Whether you are here for a sherwani that takes ten days to paint by hand or a suit using Italian wool, the first step is always the conversation. We talk about what you do, where you are going to wear the piece, and most importantly, how it needs to feel.
I have always believed that clothes should not feel like a cage. That is why I started Nine—to fix the problem of heavy, stuffy ceremonial wear. When you visit, we can discuss the breathable linings I use or look at the antique coin buttons I source for my bandhgalas. This is a collaborative process. I want you to see the textures, feel the quality of the fabrics, and understand the work that goes into your outfit before we even mark the fabric. If you are in Delhi, come by.
