The biggest issue I see with festive menswear is that guys end up sweating through their kurtas and vests within an hour. That is why I specifically build these sets with breathable linings and high-count natural fabrics. Whether you are at a daytime Haldi or an evening party, my goal is to keep you comfortable enough to actually enjoy the celebration, not just stand around feeling stiff.
I started Nine Styles because I was tired of seeing friends and clients stuck in heavy, stifling fabrics during Indian weddings. My Effortless Celebration range is my answer to that. I work with Giza cottons and breathable blends because I believe the most stylish man in the room is the one who isn't constantly adjusting his collar or wiping sweat from his brow.
At my Defence Colony studio, we focus on the details that actually matter. We look at the placement of mirror work on our festive vests and how the fabric flows when you move.
