About Our Atelier: The Bespoke Journey
We follow a precise process for every piece, starting with two physical trials, a skeleton fit and a finishing fit, to ensure your garment moves exactly as you do. This rigour ensures your silhouette is perfectly structured before the final stitch is ever made.
At Manhar, we believe the true value of a garment lies in the process. Our atelier is not a place for mass production, but a space where heritage techniques meet individual expression. When you work with us, you are engaging with artisans who have mastered their craft over decades.
The Custom Journey
Every project begins with a conversation about your occasion and style. Whether you are seeking a traditional sherwani for a wedding or a contemporary suit for a formal engagement, we start by selecting the right canvas. Our fabric library includes Super 100s wool blends, pure silks, and premium linens. We guide you through the choices—from lapel width and cuff style to the density of Zardozi or Resham embroidery—ensuring every detail is deliberate.
Craftsmanship in Detail
Our construction methods are designed for longevity and comfort. For our sherwanis, we use a fully canvas-fused front to maintain a stiff, regal posture throughout the event. For western wear, we employ half-canvas construction to ensure the chest area remains crisp and wrinkle-free. Our artisans work on-site in Delhi, which allows for direct communication and minor adjustments during your trials. We do not let a piece leave the studio until it feels like a natural extension of yourself.
Why We Prioritize Time
Because we prioritize hand-embroidery and manual pattern drafting, production typically spans 25 to 40 days. We recommend planning your visits accordingly, especially during the wedding season, to allow us the necessary time to perfect your fit without rushing the artistry.
