The Nine Styles Bespoke Process: How We Tailor Your Look
I believe a truly great outfit starts with a conversation, not a catalog. Here is how my team and I turn fine fabrics into garments that actually fit your life, your story, and your comfort.
"A suit as unique as you." This is my promise. The process begins with the sharp sound of shears cutting through fine fabric, the first step in creating a garment that is exclusively yours.
Stitched with intent, worn with pride. The final touch is our label, a mark of the quality and craftsmanship that goes into every single piece we create in our studio.
"Made just for you." A bespoke suit is a collaboration. I take precise measurements to ensure that the final garment fits you perfectly, flattering your form and reflecting your personal style.
"Made from start to suit." Every step, from cutting the pattern to the final press, is handled with expert care. This is the art of true bespoke tailoring.
The details on the back of the collar. These small, metallic embellishments add a subtle, modern edge to a classic black garment, a signature of our design philosophy.
A close-up of the cuff detail. This metallic accent on the sleeve tab is another example of how we incorporate unique, contemporary elements into our traditional wear.
A look at the collar detail from our "Metal Bling" collection. The sharp, metallic accents provide a modern, almost military-inspired precision to the garment.
The "Metal Bling" collection is all about elevating your wardrobe with custom precision. This jacket features a shield and sword brooch, adding a touch of warrior-like elegance.
The final press. This is a crucial step in the tailoring process, ensuring that every seam is flat, every line is crisp, and the garment drapes perfectly.
The heart of my workshop: the sewing machine. Under the focused light, thread becomes art, and fabric is transformed into a piece of timeless fashion.
About The Nine Styles Process
We do not just take measurements and send you on your way. You will visit my Defence Colony studio for at least one or two fitting sessions, depending on the complexity of your garment. This is where we catch the little things, like the way a shoulder sits or the drape of the fabric, so when you walk out for your event, you are wearing something that feels like a second skin.
Our Approach to Custom Tailoring
When you walk into my studio in Defence Colony, you are not browsing a rack of pre-made sizes. You are starting a collaboration. After two decades in this business, I have learned that the difference between a garment you wear once and a garment you love is in the process.
The Conversation
We start by talking about the event, the climate, and how you want to feel. Are you going to be standing under hot stage lights? Is it a winter wedding? I need to know these details because they dictate the fabric we choose. We work with everything from Italian wools to breathable linens, and I will be honest about what will keep you comfortable and what will not.
The Fitting Sessions
This is the non-negotiable part. A piece of clothing needs to move with you. For a simple kurta, we might only need one session, but for a Bandhgala or a Sherwani, expect at least two or three. We start with a structure fit, then a fall check. We tweak the seams, adjust the vents, and make sure the hardware—be it our signature antique coin buttons or a custom brooch—sits exactly where it should.
Quality Behind the Seams
I am proud of the things you cannot see. The breathable technical linings inside our jackets, the way the canvas is fused to the fabric to maintain shape without being heavy—this is the hidden work. My team and I focus on these details because they ensure your outfit looks just as sharp at the end of the night as it did when you first put it on.
