About Modern Gowns & Lehengas
My gowns are built with structural integrity in mind, using internal corsetry with proper boning and horsehair braid finishes on hemlines to ensure you can move, dance, and feel secure all night long. It is not just about the visual, it is about how the fabric holds its shape while you own the room.
When you choose a modern gown or a contemporary lehenga, you are looking for a balance between dramatic flair and practical comfort. My approach is to take the rigidity out of traditional bridal wear. I use imported Duchess Satin, Italian Tulle, and rich velvets to create silhouettes that feel fluid yet structured.
Each piece starts with a conversation about your story. We then translate that into technical design—incorporating corset bodices for waist shaping, mermaid cuts, or ruffled drapes. While the silhouette is modern, the craft remains rooted in heritage. I apply Zardozi, Aari, and crystal work by hand, ensuring that even a avant-garde gown carries the depth of traditional craftsmanship.
