About Party & Gala Wear
For gala events, I prioritize movement as much as the look. I use internal corset boning and structural lining in my gowns and sarees so you feel secure and comfortable, no matter how long the night lasts. My goal is to ensure you aren't just wearing an outfit, but moving with confidence in a piece built specifically for your body and your plans for the evening.
When you walk into a room, your clothes should speak for you. That is the philosophy behind my party and gala wear collections. I do not believe in fast-fashion trends that fade in a season. Instead, I focus on high-impact couture that feels substantial and looks distinct.
Design and Construction
My approach to evening wear is rooted in technical precision. For cocktail gowns, I utilize imported satin or tulle, incorporating structured corset bodices that provide support and shape without restricting you. If you prefer a saree for a gala, I move away from standard pre-drapes, creating modern silhouettes that incorporate intricate beadwork, feathers, and heavy embroidery patterns—Zardozi, French knots, and cut-dana—that hold up under event lighting.
Your Vision, My Studio
Every outfit starts with a conversation at my Bangalore studio on Dickenson Road. You tell me about the event, the setting, and how you want to feel. I translate that into a sketch. We then move to fabric selection—whether that is rich velvet for winter galas or breezy georgettes for summer soirees. I prioritize the finishing touches, such as the weight of the tassels or the placement of Swarovski crystals, to ensure the piece has a premium finish that looks as good up close as it does from across the room.
