We start by mapping out your vision and the story you want your engagement look to tell, then translate that into a garment that fits you perfectly. You get two rounds of fittings to ensure the structure, especially for gowns or concept blouses, feels like a second skin.
Designing for engagements requires a different energy than a wedding day. You want comfort for movement during a photoshoot, but enough drama to stand out at the ceremony. I focus on creating a balance. My team uses traditional handwork like Zardozi and Aari on contemporary silhouettes to ensure you feel like yourself.
For couples who want to coordinate, I design pieces that complement each other without being identical. If your partner chooses a navy sherwani, I might incorporate those same embroidery motifs into the hemline or neckline of your outfit. It is all about creating a visual connection.
We work with high-quality raw silks, velvets, and imported tulle. If you have an idea, a reference from your family history, or a specific vibe you want to capture, bring it to our studio in Dickenson Road. We will sketch it out, select the fabrics together, and walk through the fittings until it is just right.
