Modern and Fusion Ethnic Wear Designs
You love tradition, but you also want a look that feels fresh. My fusion collection blends classic Indian textiles with modern cuts, perfect for receptions, cocktails, or any event where you want to stand out.

About Modern & Fusion Styles
Every modern outfit I create starts with a conversation about silhouette. Whether we are transforming a Kanchivaram fabric into a contemporary gown or giving a classic anarkali a sharp, modern neckline, my focus is on maintaining the richness of traditional embroidery while ensuring the fit feels effortless. We will sketch your ideas together at my Jayanagar studio to ensure the final piece feels entirely like you.
Fusion wear is about balance. It brings together the depth of South Indian craftsmanship with the freedom of modern design. When you come to me with an idea, we look at how to adapt heavy fabrics like raw silk or Kanchivaram into silhouettes that are easier to carry, such as flowing anarkalis, ethnic gowns, or layered organza skirts.
My process involves:
- Consultation: We discuss your event, your personal style, and where you want to be comfortable.
- Design: I sketch a unique look for you, often adding hand-embroidery or cut-work to give it that signature finish.
- Fit: Using premium linings like cotton or butter crepe, I ensure your fusion outfit feels as good as it looks.
I love designing for varied occasions. An organza skirt paired with a heavy hand-embroidered blouse is a favourite for engagements, while a floral brocade gown works perfectly for a reception or a family gathering. If you have an existing saree you want to re-imagine, bring it over, and we can explore how to turn it into a modern fusion ensemble.
