Finding a suit or sherwani that actually complements your partner’s look is harder than it sounds. At Needle Eye, I design groom’s wear that bridges the gap between your personal style and the wedding palette, ensuring you look like a partner, not an afterthought.

A classic and elegant look for the groom. This perfectly tailored black tuxedo with a satin lapel is a timeless choice that stands proudly next to the bride's traditional orange Kanjivaram saree.

A close up of a groom and bride, showing the coordination in their outfits. His off white silk sherwani features subtle embroidery that echoes the craftsmanship of her golden bridal saree.

A tender moment between the bride and groom. He wears a traditional cream colored kurta with delicate gold embroidery on the stole, perfectly matching the tones of her embellished bridal saree.

A happy couple in their coordinated outfits. The groom's cream bandhgala features subtle orange detailing, a perfect match for the bride's vibrant orange lehenga, creating a picture perfect pair.

About Groom's Wear

A lot of grooms settle for whatever is off the rack, but that often leads to a mismatch in fabric texture and embroidery density when you stand next to your partner. I focus on synchronizing the groom’s wear with the bridal ensemble by using the same base fabrics like raw silk or velvet and mirroring the embroidery motifs, ensuring that your look feels like part of a deliberate, unified story.

Whether you are opting for a classic bandhgala, a sharp tuxedo, or a traditional sherwani, the goal is simple. You need an outfit that holds its own while reflecting the broader wedding aesthetic. I work with premium materials, like Italian wools for suits or raw silk for traditional wear, to ensure the garment looks as sharp in photos as it does in person.

Most of my groom clients appreciate that we do not just pick a color and call it a day. We look at the bride’s outfit and decide how to pull in subtle elements without being too matchy-matchy. If she has Zardozi work, we can incorporate similar motifs in your collar or pocket square. If she is wearing Kanjivaram, we look for sherwanis that pick up those same golden tones.

The process usually involves an initial consultation where we discuss the wedding venue, the vibe, and how you want to feel. From there, we move to fabric selection, sketching, and two rounds of fittings to ensure the structure is perfect. Being based in Bangalore allows me to work closely with local experts for embroidery, meaning your outfit gets the same level of hand-work dedication as any bridal piece in our collection. You are not just buying a suit. You are investing in a tailored garment that fits your body and your role in the wedding story.

I do not believe the groom should be a background character at his own wedding. At Needle Eye, I create custom wear that stands on its own merits, ensuring your style is as thoughtful and precise as the bride’s. Let’s build an outfit that matches your partner while staying true to your own personality.
