About this collection
I don't believe in generic sizing or standard patterns. When I stitch a gown, I use plastic boning for structure in the bodice and reinforced horsehair braid at the hemline to keep the flare round and bouncy. If you are worried about your gown losing its shape while you dance or pose, this structure ensures it stays exactly as it should, no collapsing, and no constant adjusting.
A gown should feel like a second skin, not a costume you have to fix every five minutes. Whether you are planning a pre-wedding shoot or attending a reception, my approach at Devansh Boutique is simple: we start with your measurements and create a custom paper pattern. We do not do direct cutting on fabric. This process allows us to adjust for your unique body type, whether you prefer a mermaid cut, a fishtail, or a classic A-line silhouette.
For maternity shoots, I design gowns with adjustable corset backs or elasticated side panels, so you have the room you need without losing the elegant look. My team and I focus heavily on volume engineering, using multiple layers of soft net and hard net, known as Can-Can, to create that perfect flare.
