I blend the timeless rhythms of Madhubani and Pattachitra with a modern digital palette. These prints are not just wall decor, they are stories of sacred animals and cultural heritage, reimagined for your home.

This royal camel is dressed in patterns inspired by the rich textile traditions of Kachchh. I wanted to capture the feeling of a desert festival, blending traditional embroidery motifs with a bold, modern color palette.

A closer view of the camel's adornments, where you can see the detailed linework on the saddle. Each pattern, from triangles to florals, is a nod to the beautiful chaos of Rajasthani folk art.

This detail shot focuses on the camel's decorated harness. I used bright, contrasting colors to give it a festive and lively feel, as if it's part of a grand procession.

Here I break down the inspirations for the camel's patterns. The motifs are drawn from Kachchhi embroidery, Banjara stitches, and festival florals, each telling a small story of Indian folk traditions.

In this full view, the camel stands as a canvas for tradition. It's a piece of digital folk art that brings together my love for storytelling and cultural heritage, perfect for a statement wall art print.

This image captures the essence of the artwork with the words "It's embroidery in motion." My goal was to make the static digital drawing feel alive with the movement and spirit of textile art.

A detailed look at the elephant's head, where I've used vibrant mandala and folk motifs to adorn its features. This digital illustration is perfect as a wall print to bring wisdom and good fortune into your space.

This view focuses on the intricate patterns covering the elephant's legs. Each section is filled with unique designs, reminiscent of traditional Indian textiles and Phad painting styles.

Here you can see the details on the elephant's back, including a saddle cloth with a floral design. The bright yellow background makes the colorful patterns pop, creating a joyful and energetic piece.

This vertical composition frames the majestic elephant, making it an ideal format for a poster or framed art print. The floral border adds a delicate touch to the powerful imagery.

About Digital Art Prints: A Modern Take on Indian Folk Art

I create these digital prints to feel textured and alive, much like the original folk paintings that inspire me. You can choose from A4 or A3 sizes on premium 300 GSM textured paper, which ensures the colors stay vibrant without the glossy, flat look of typical posters. Whether it is a royal elephant or a festive camel, each piece is designed to be a conversation starter in your space.

Growing up in Patna, my connection to Indian folk art started with the raw strength of Durga, the intricacy of pandals, and the storytelling woven into every motif. When I moved to digital, I did not want to lose that handmade soul. My process involves taking those traditional inspirations, like the vibrant symmetry of Madhubani or the precise linework of Pattachitra, and translating them into high-resolution illustrations.

I print these on heavy 250 to 300 GSM paper with a matte or eggshell finish. This is not standard glossy photo paper. It is textured to mimic the feel of traditional canvas or handmade paper, bridging the gap between old-world heritage and modern interior needs. I use Procreate to layer these complex patterns, often taking inspiration from textile traditions like Kachchhi embroidery or Phulkari. Each piece is a process of finding balance, using bold, contemporary colors to make the age-old stories feel fresh and relevant for a living room, bedroom, or home office wall.

Hi, I am Ankita. Art is my way of making my own sunshine, and I believe our homes should hold that same warmth. I started this journey as a way to process my own days, and I hope these prints bring a little of that calm, collected folk-energy into your space.
