My Art, My Sunshine: A Featured Collection of Folk & Digital Designs
Art is my way of slowing down. This collection is a glimpse into how I blend traditional Indian folk patterns with digital strokes to bring a bit of calm and color into your home.
This decorated elephant is a celebration of Indian folk art, reimagined with a modern digital touch. I adorned it with colorful patterns inspired by Madhubani and Pattachitra styles, making it a symbol of wisdom and prosperity for your home.
Here is a look at one of my one-of-a-kind decoupage pieces. I love transforming simple glass bottles into unique home decor items. This one features a soft pink texture and delicate floral motifs, perfect for a boho chic space.
There is a unique power in simplicity. This black and white mandala shows the beauty of pure line work, where every stroke is a form of meditation. It’s a piece of sacred geometry designed to bring a sense of calm and focus.
Watch how I create one of my handmade bookmarks from scratch. This video shows the process of drawing simple, meditative patterns, turning a blank piece of paper into a small piece of art for your favorite books.
This artwork is my tribute to Kamdhenu, the sacred cow symbolizing abundance and divinity. I've decorated her in a cream palette with colorful Phulkari and mandala-inspired details, creating a spiritual piece for a peaceful home.
This illustration is a reminder that sometimes, we have to create our own sunshine. It’s a core part of my philosophy and my art, a message of hope and self-reliance for those days that feel a little heavy.
Here is a closer look at the details in my peacock-inspired art. I love getting lost in the layers of color and texture, creating these flowing patterns that mimic the beauty of a peacock's feather.
When my mind feels cluttered, I turn to my sketchbook and let my pen wander. These little zentangle hearts are the result of one such meditative session, a simple and personal way to find my calm.
About Featured
Whether it is a framed print or a hand-painted decoupage bottle, every piece here is born from a quiet moment in my sketchbook. I prioritize textures and meaningful motifs over mass production, so the small imperfections you see are simply part of the story.
This featured collection is a window into my world—a blend of my traditional roots and my modern digital practice. When I work on these pieces, I am thinking about how to bring a sense of balance into a space.
The Quality Behind the Art
I want these pieces to last, so I put a lot of thought into the materials. My framed wall art uses sturdy synthetic wood fiber frames, and I fit them with shatter-resistant acrylic glazing instead of glass, so they arrive safely at your doorstep. For my fine art prints, I use heavy 250-300 GSM paper with a matte texture, which really lets the vibrant colors of the Indian folk motifs pop without any glare.
My Process
My work often starts with a single line. Whether it is an elephant inspired by Pattachitra or a mandala symbolizing abundance, I layer traditional Indian folk elements with the precision of digital tools like Procreate. For the handmade pieces like decoupage bottles, I go through a multi-layer varnishing process to ensure they are water-resistant and durable enough for your living area.
I am not just making decor; I am creating little reminders of peace. Kuch cheezein bas mehsoos ki jaati hain (some things are just felt), and my hope is that when you hang one of these prints or display a bottle, it gives you that same sense of quiet I find when I am creating it.
