Personal Art Illustrations and Visual Stories
Sometimes words are not enough, so I draw to find my own calm. Here are the illustrations and stories I create when my thoughts feel a little too heavy.
I call this piece "Self Hug." It's an abstract portrait about the importance of showing compassion to ourselves, especially when our minds are filled with sadness and overwhelming thoughts.
When overwhelming thoughts kept me from sleeping, I created this little girl. I was thinking of my sister, who is all things bright and brave. It's a portrait of peaceful dreaming.
A slightly brighter version of my dreamy girl illustration. The vibrant pastel colors and sparkling stars represent the beautiful universe that exists within our minds.
In this version, I played with a brighter background to give the illustration an even more cheerful and magical feel. It’s a celebration of inner light and imagination.
The black and white line art for my illustration. Even without color, the simple lines convey a sense of peace and contentment.
A little animated illustration of a cozy cabin in a magical forest. I was inspired by a piece I saw on Pinterest and wanted to create my own version of a peaceful, secluded hideaway.
I'm always trying to learn new art styles. This was an experiment in creating a surreal illustration of cats in a cupboard, where the world outside the windows is a swirl of psychedelic color.
A monochrome version of my cat illustration, using shades of pink and purple. This color scheme gives the piece a moody, mysterious, and magical atmosphere.
Here I experimented with a blue cupboard and pink cats. Each small step and color change is part of my journey in learning and growing as an artist.
This version has a more muted, vintage feel with a dark cupboard and soft pink background. I'm not always satisfied with the result, but I believe in the process of taking small steps.
About Personal Illustrations & Stories
I create these pieces when I need to clear my head, and I love helping others find that same sense of peace in their own spaces. Whether you want a portrait inspired by your own life or a digital print that brings a touch of quiet magic to your room, I work with you to capture the right mood and color palette, step by step.
My approach to these illustrations isn't about perfection, but about the process. Whether I'm exploring a surreal concept like my cat series or sketching a quiet 'self hug' portrait, every piece is a visual diary entry.
Bringing My Art Into Your Home
If you connect with one of these stories, you can bring it home.
- Digital Art Prints: I offer high-quality prints on 250-300 GSM textured paper. The matte or eggshell finish helps replicate that traditional art feel, making them perfect for gallery walls or your workspace.
- Custom Commissions: If you have a specific story or a loved one you want to celebrate, let's talk. I take custom portrait commissions where we can decide on the style, colors, and the feeling you want to capture.
The Process
I work primarily on Procreate for my digital pieces, which allows me to experiment with layers and vibrant color palettes until the mood feels right. You might notice my style shifts—some days it's experimental and abstract, other days it's focused on simple, clean lines. That is intentional. Just like we have different days, my art has different moods.
Whether you are looking for something to brighten up a corner of your home or a meaningful gift that goes beyond the usual decor, my illustrations are created to offer a little bit of warmth. If you aren't sure where to start, feel free to reach out. We can chat about what resonates with you and find the right piece.
