Meditative Mandalas and Zentangle Art for Calm Spaces
Art is my way of creating a little sunshine, especially on days when things feel heavy. These mandalas and zentangle designs are my visual meditation, and I hope they bring the same sense of peace into your home.
This layered mandala art is a reflection of my own personal shifts and growth. Each circle and pattern represents a different phase of life, coming together to create a vibrant, complex, and deeply personal whole.
Another view of my layered mandala composition. The overlapping shapes and patterns symbolize how our experiences build upon one another, creating the person we are today.
A closer look at the intricate details within the layered mandalas. This piece is about finding harmony between different parts of oneself, from extrovert to introvert and everything in between.
This detail shot highlights one of the octagonal mandalas. The bright pinks, blues, and oranges are chosen to represent the energy and emotion of life's journey.
This version shows the mandalas against a slightly different background pattern, illustrating how context can change our perception of the same core elements.
This color-blocked mandala is a simple explosion of joy. I used bright, happy colors and clean lines to create a piece that feels both energetic and balanced, perfect for brightening up a room.
Here I've turned the mandala into a repeating pattern. The symmetry and vibrant colors create a playful and mesmerizing design that would be great for textiles or wallpaper.

This detail shows the pink and green portion of the color-blocked mandala. The combination of warm and cool colors creates a pleasing visual balance.

About Meditative Mandalas & Zentangles
Every circle and pattern I draw is an intentional act to create balance, serving as a visual anchor for those days when life feels a bit chaotic. I create these pieces hoping they do more than just decorate your wall—they are here to help you pause and find a moment of quiet in your busy day.
When I pick up my pen or open my digital canvas, the goal isn't just to make something pretty. It is to externalize the calm I am trying to find inside. My 'Mystique Sunshine' collection is rooted in this need for mindfulness. Whether it is a dense, intricate zentangle pattern that demands focus or a softer, pastel mandala, each piece represents a shift in my own journey.
I work in two ways:
The Digital & The Handmade
- Digital Prints: For these, I use Procreate to layer color and symmetry. These are perfect for framing, and I print them on 250-300 GSM textured paper so they don't look like flat, generic posters. You get that rich, archival quality that feels like real art.
- Handmade Originals: My bookmarks and one-off pieces are where I get tactile. I use archival inks on 300 GSM cardstock, sealing them with fixative sprays so the ink stays vibrant. These are imperfect, and I love them for that.
Making It Yours
If you are looking for specific wall art, my framed pieces come ready to hang with shatter-resistant acrylic glazing. I focus on themes that ground a space—deities like Ganesha or Durga for a sacred corner, or abstract patterns for your workspace. My art is about finding order in chaos. If you have a specific color palette in mind for your home, reach out. We can talk about creating something that tells your story rather than just filling a wall.
