From ink-drawn bookmarks to upcycled decor, these are the pieces I create by hand when I need to slow down. Discover art that brings a quiet, personal touch to your everyday life.

A short video showing my handmade decoupage bottle from all angles. You can see the texture and the way the floral design wraps around the surface, a process that turns a simple object into a piece of art.

Another look at my finished decoupage bottle. The art of decoupage has a rich history, and I love continuing that tradition by creating these unique, textured decor pieces by hand.

A close-up view of the decoupage bottle, where you can see the subtle textures and the rustic jute twine I used to wrap the cap. It's these little handmade details that make each piece special.

This video shows the satisfying process of creating a zentangle bookmark. I find so much joy in drawing at my own pace, filling the space with meditative patterns. The back is a bright, cheerful green.

Watch a simple peacock-inspired doodle come to life on a bookmark. This slow and calming drawing process is a form of meditation for me, resulting in a colorful and unique piece to hold your page.

A short video showing how I create a simple, minimalist bookmark with tiny doodles. Sometimes art doesn't need to be loud; it can be a quiet whisper, a kind thought on a page.

The top portion of a handmade bookmark I created after a long break. The intricate, henna-inspired patterns are drawn with pen, a simple and satisfying way to create something beautiful.

The bottom half of the same zentangle bookmark. The flowing floral and paisley designs are perfect for any book lover who appreciates handmade details.

I'm not working on anything big right now, just creating these happy, bright bookmarks. One side features a colorful abstract doodle, while the other has a portrait of a woman, a small piece of my imagination.

A video showcasing my double-sided bookmark. One side features a woman's portrait, representing the fire outside, while the other has abstract line work, showing the complex inner world.

About Handmade from the Heart

My decoupage bottles are more than just shelf decor; they are upcycled glass pieces treated with multi-layer texture paste for that tactile 3D finish. I seal each one with several coats of water-resistant varnish to ensure they last, but please keep in mind they are for indoor display only. A quick wipe with a damp cloth is all you need to keep them looking fresh.

When I create these handmade pieces, the process is as important as the final look. For my bookmarks, I rely on 300 GSM artist-grade cardstock and Sakura Micron archival inks. I avoid digital printing for these because the flow of ink on paper feels like a form of meditation. Each bookmark is finished with a light fixative spray to prevent smudging and comes with a hand-tied ribbon tassel, making them sturdy enough for daily use in any book.

Why Handmade Matters

My work often embraces the small, beautiful imperfections that happen when you draw by hand. Whether it is a slight variation in a mandala line or the texture of a decoupage bottle, these details are what make a piece yours. I combine traditional Indian folk motifs with a modern, meditative approach, turning everyday objects into small reminders of calm.

Care & Use

  • Bookmarks: These are standard 2x6 inch sizes. They are sealed, but try to keep them away from direct water splashes.
  • Decoupage Bottles: These are designed as aesthetic vases or table accents. While the varnish provides durability, they are not dishwasher safe and should not be submerged in water.
  • Art Prints: If you choose my fine art prints, they are printed on 250-300 GSM textured paper to replicate the look of original hand-painted work. These arrive rolled in heavy-duty tubes for maximum protection during shipping.
