About Our Fighters: Team India & Competitions

Sparring isn't just about throwing punches; it is about timing, range, and controlling the clinch. When I train a student for the International Martial Art Games or state championships, we don't just focus on cardio. We break down the 'Art of 8 Limbs' until every movement becomes instinctive. If you are serious about stepping into the ring, understand that competition training is a different level of commitment. Leave your ego at the door and be ready to work.

Transitioning from fitness Muay Thai to competitive fighting requires a shift in mindset. Here at the Muaythai Boxing Academy in Sadiq Nagar and Siri Fort, we teach the difference between hitting a bag and landing a strike on a moving opponent.

My fighters don't just train; they prepare for the reality of the ring. This involves:

  • Technical Drills: Mastering the Mae Mai and Luk Mai (major and minor techniques) that are essential for scoring points in a real fight.
  • Conditioning: It is not about looking tough; it is about being tough. We use traditional methods to harden the shins and build torso resilience so you can take a hit and keep moving.
  • Sparring Strategy: We practice light contact sparring to build defensive reflexes and offensive rhythm. It is about learning marna kaise hai (how to strike) and bachna kaise hai (how to defend).
  • Competition Roadmap: From the Pythian Games to international platforms, I help my students navigate the selection process, providing the guidance and the physical edge they need to compete on the world stage.

Whether you are a beginner looking to test your limits or an experienced athlete aiming for a podium finish, you will find a home here. This isn't a gym where you come to hide; this is a place to forge a fighter's spirit. Chalo, are you ready?
