I’m not running a regular gym here - Mud and Mettle feels more like a family. Everyone’s welcome, whether you’re climbing for the first time or you’ve got calluses on your fingers. Our place isn’t just about getting stronger physically; it’s about cheering each other on and actually having fun. You’ll hear laughter and see people falling (safely!) all the time.

Bouldering Basics - No Ropes, Just Moves

If you’re new, you’ll quickly get what bouldering is. It’s climbing short walls without harnesses or ropes, just pure movement and problem-solving. Don’t stress about falling - thick crash pads are always there. You get to push yourself, fail, and laugh it off.

Our Approach: Smarter, Stronger Climbing

I believe climbing and fitness go hand in hand. Technique always comes first - because power without skill just leads to injuries and frustration. I mix performance training with bouldering sessions, so you actually see progress over time.

Something for Everyone

  • Beginner bouldering workshop for newbies. We’ll walk you through warm-ups, falling right, and basic moves.
  • Open sessions for those wanting to climb and chill with the crew. It’s the easiest way to get into the climbing community.
  • MoonBoard training for experienced climbers. If you want to push your limits, measure progress, or just geek out over standardized routes, this is your wall.

We also throw in special events like ladies-only nights and community fundraisers.

My Story

People always ask—what’s Mud and Mettle? It’s fighting through the messy bits, showing grit. We started this place because we wanted more than just another gym, you know? Some folks walk in after injuries, some just tired of sitting around. Watching them nail their first pull-up or climb that wall, that’s why we’re here. Mud and Mettle is our second home, our fit fam, not just a gym. It’s straight up an emotion.

My Work

Performance Training & Bouldering - Strength, conditioning, powerlifting, CrossFit style group workouts, plus MoonBoard climbing and bouldering for all levels.

Technique First - We drill basics hard. Better technique means more power and speed. No random routines here.

All Are Welcome - Beginner, athlete, new mom, injury recovery, whatever—workouts get scaled for you.

Supportive Fitness Community - We’re a fit fam. We train, trek, compete, and push each other. Teammates make all the difference.
