About Fine Art & Drawing Classes
What I Love About Teaching Art
Honestly, I get a kick every time a student finishes a painting they never thought they could do. Whether you’re a total beginner or someone who’s already been sketching, I’d love to help you get that same feeling. The best part for me is when people find joy in creating, especially if they’ve never picked up a brush before.
Who Can Join
Anyone, literally. I teach kids (from age 7 and up), teens, and adults. If you think you can't draw a straight line, you’re actually my favorite kind of student. We start from scratch with every batch, so having zero experience is kind of the norm here.
What You’ll Learn
- We cover painting with acrylics and oils - whether you’re into landscapes, portraits, or want to try spiritual art like Krishna or Ganesha.
- Watercolors, gouache, poster colors for vibrant illustrations.
- Portrait drawing course includes pencil, charcoal, and color pencils - shading, texture, capturing expressions.
- Kids art workshops and beginners get a gentle start.
- We even touch on oil pastels and calligraphy basics.
How Classes Work
Join me in person at my East Delhi or Karol Bagh studios, or log in to live online art classes via Zoom. Both ways, you’ll get real-time feedback and guidance.
My Style
I keep things simple. We focus on fundamentals but I make it fun, not boring - mixing colors, learning brushwork, caring for your supplies. Most students start with poster colors and graduate to canvas painting.
Why I Teach
Art is personal for me. Some pieces, like my Baba Nanka painting, feel like a blessing. I bring that same vibe to class - my biggest reward is watching you finish something you’re proud of.

My Story
Hi, I'm Mehak and this is my art studio in East Delhi. Art for me is pure pyaar (love). Started with a portrait for my husband, then resin art hampers for Rakhi, and now, every custom order gets a little homemade surprise - maybe brownies! My students? They’re my little artists, my little santas. Watching a 6-year-old finish a canvas or a beginner shine in my two-day painting workshop - gives me goosebumps. Some pieces, like my Baba Nanak painting, are more than just art, they’re blessings.
