About The Delicacy of Watercolors
Watercolors often intimidate beginners because of water control, but that is where the beauty actually lies. In my sessions, we do not start with complex theory. We teach your hand how to handle the brush and how much pigment to mix with water. It is a rhythmic, slow process that helps you build confidence one stroke at a time, even if you have never held a brush before.
How our sessions work
At my studio in East Delhi or through live Zoom sessions, we follow a practical methodology called the Easiest Way to Paint. This approach removes the fear of starting by focusing on the fundamentals first. We begin with brush handling and color mixing, then move into creating specific textures like the ones you see in my garden gate or landscape paintings.
Online and In-Studio
If you join our online classes, you get the same level of attention as in-studio students. I use a dual-camera setup so you can see my face for instructions and a top-down view of my canvas to follow the strokes exactly as I do. You receive real-time corrections, which ensures you do not pick up bad habits early on.
What to expect
Our batches are kept small, typically limited to 6 to 10 students. This allows me to guide you individually, whether you are trying to capture the transparency of watercolor or the depth of a portrait. We provide a detailed list of supplies before we start, so you are always prepared. You are also welcome to join if you are a total beginner, as we start every batch from scratch, building your skills from simple poster colors to professional-grade watercolors. We cover everything from leaves and shadows to complex portraits, ensuring you leave with a finished piece you feel proud to hang on your wall.
