About Art Workshops & Classes
Why I Teach Art
Art started off as my escape, especially during tough times when I didn’t want to open up to anyone. Sketching was how I let it all out. Now, it’s my way of helping others find their voice, especially if you’re feeling stuck or just want to try something new.
What Happens in My Workshops
I keep things informal — it’s more like hanging out with fellow art lovers than a typical class. Here’s how we roll:
- We do outdoor sketching workshops at spots like Sunder Nursery or Janpath, soaking in Delhi’s vibe and sketching whatever catches our eye.
- Sessions are super chill and easygoing. You’ll pick up beginner drawing techniques from me and others in the group. No one’s judging — you’re free to mess up and learn.
- We combine collaborative art sessions with personal growth, sharing our sketchbooks at the end so everyone gets a peek at what others made.
How You’ll Grow
We start from scratch. Basics first — shapes, lines, proportion. I use stuff like the Loomis method and keep it hands-on with pencils, ink, graphite, and charcoal. We cover portraits, city scenes, heritage buildings, and more.
Real Talk: Progress Isn’t Linear
Sometimes I procrastinate. Sometimes you will too. It took me nearly a year to finish a piece once! No shame in slow days. You just pick up again and move forward. That’s how art goes.
Where We Meet
No fixed studio — Delhi is our classroom. Parks, markets, random corners, wherever feels right. Dekh raha hai na Binod... sessions are always something different!

My Story
Hey, Tarun here, straight outta Delhi. Art for me? Not just pretty pictures. It's how I make sense of my mess. I’m not gonna lie, sometimes I’m lazy as hell—like that Zakir Khan portrait, took me almost a year! Still, every piece, even the slow ones, means something. When my head gets heavy, I draw it out. No filters, just me, real and raw. Dekho, jo dekhna hai dekh lo (see what you want to see).
My Work
Custom Handmade Portraits - I make portraits from your photos using graphite, charcoal, or color pencils. Real faces, real details.
Live Sketching & Murals - You’ll spot me at weddings or events, doing live portrait sketching. I also paint murals and murtis.
Realism & Hyperrealism - Obsessed with details—hair, eyes, all of it. Love hyperrealistic graphite drawings and ballpoint pen crosshatching.
Conceptual Art from the Heart - I draw about stuff like anxiety and love. Pieces like 'Burden' come from my own struggles.
Teaching & Honest Process - I share step-by-step drawing guides. If I’m slow ‘cause life happens, I’ll tell you. Art’s worth it.
