Creative Art Classes and Painting Workshops for Kids
I believe anyone can be an artist. My classes for kids focus on building confidence through creative expression, whether they're trying poster colors for the first time or mastering watercolor textures.
Here is one of our tiny artists, just 6 years old, confidently painting a landscape. My classes for kids are designed to be fun and encouraging, building a love for art from a young age.
This vibrant flamingo painting was created by a 6-year-old student. It's a fantastic example of how we teach kids to use bold colors and create complete, imaginative scenes.
A young student holds up her poster color landscape painting of a mountain sunset. She did a wonderful job blending the warm colors of the sky and reflecting them in the water.
Another take on the flamingo theme, this time by a young teen using poster colors. It's great to see students take a subject and add their own unique style to it.
These colorful parrots were painted by a student using poster colors. This project helps them practice blending bright colors and painting fine details like feathers.
This refreshing coconut painting was made by a young student using watercolors. She learned how to create texture and capture the play of light on the surface.
A young artist proudly displays her watercolor painting of a blueberry cheesecake. This was a fun project for learning how to paint different textures, from the glossy fruit to the crumbly crust.
About this collection
Most kids start with poster colors to master basic brush control and color mixing before moving to watercolors or acrylics. I keep batches small—limited to 6-10 students—so every child gets real-time, hands-on feedback on their canvas, whether we are working on a landscape or a still life study.
How My Kids Art Classes Work
I run my art sessions with one goal in mind: helping children feel proud of what they create. Whether your child is 6 or 16, I start them from scratch. No prior experience is needed, and I promise, even if they think they can't draw a straight line, they will surprise you.
What We Cover
We take a progressive approach. New students usually begin with poster colors, which are perfect for learning the fundamentals of shading, highlights, and color blending. From there, we introduce watercolors for delicate textures—like painting a coconut or a slice of cheesecake—and eventually, acrylics for vibrant, larger canvases like the flamingos you see in the gallery.
Studio or Online
You can join me for in-studio sessions at my Jagriti Enclave or Karol Bagh locations. These are fully air-conditioned, professional spaces with real easels. If you are further away, I also conduct live interactive classes via Zoom with a dual-camera setup. This means I can see what your child is painting on their canvas and give immediate, step-by-step corrections just as if I were standing right next to them.
Why Small Batches Matter
I limit my batches to 6-10 students because art needs patience. I want to ensure I can walk around, correct holding techniques, and encourage them personally. My workshops are designed to be fun, not stressful. It is about the joy of making something with your own hands.
