True peace is often found when we step away from our daily routine. These international retreats take us to sacred spaces where the landscape itself supports our practice of stillness.

The beautiful architecture of a temple in Koyasan, Japan, a premier destination for Buddhist pilgrims. I lead journeys here to experience the serenity of temple life and learn from the deep wisdom of Shingon Buddhism.

The sun setting on the vibrant red rocks of Sedona. This area is known for its powerful spiritual vortexes, making it an incredible place for personal enrichment of the mind, body, and soul.

Arriving at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat in the Bahamas. This tropical sanctuary has long been a destination for those seeking a spiritual environment to study yoga and cultivate a healthy, conscious lifestyle.

About Global Sanctuaries: Japan, USA & Bahamas

These are not luxury vacations. When we visit places like the temple lodgings of Koyasan or the energy vortexes of Sedona, the environment does half the work. I keep groups limited to 15 people so that we can focus entirely on authentic pranayama and silence, rather than sightseeing.

A Journey to Sacred Spaces

I choose every retreat location for its unique energy and ability to help us move from restlessness to restfulness. Whether it is the ancient Buddhist tradition of a shukubo in Japan or the grounding red rocks of Sedona, the goal is always the same: to find your silent corner.

The Experience

These journeys are immersive. In Japan, we experience the discipline of temple life and the clarity of mountain air. In Sedona, we work with the unique geological energy to deepen our meditation. At the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas, we live the rhythm of ashram life, focusing on:

  • Daily Asana: Outdoor practice, including Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations), tailored to your energy levels, not your flexibility.
  • Core Pranayama: Techniques like Nadi Shuddhi (alternate nostril breathing) to balance the mind.
  • Living the Practice: Integration of spiritual lessons into your daily life, long after you leave these sites.

Practical Details

My tuition and guiding fee cover the specialized yoga instruction, workshops on elemental connection, and the historical context I provide during our time together. Please note that for international retreats, these fees exclude travel, accommodation, and meals, giving you the freedom to choose your own comfort level. My role is to guide the practice and the spiritual path, while you manage your logistics.

I am Master Mohanty. I do not offer tours; I facilitate journeys to quiet the mind. Whether we are waking up in a Buddhist shukubo in Japan or feeling the energy of a Sedona vortex, my goal is to guide you back to your own stillness.
