We apply those traditional principles, such as thick walls for thermal mass, central courtyards for cross-ventilation, and local materials, to ensure our structures regulate temperature naturally. It is about applying the physics of the past to build a cooler, more breathable future.

We translate these ancient lessons into modern designs, using lime, mud, and locally sourced stone.

Our glamping project in Kodaikanal highlights this philosophy. The goal was to build a space that feels like part of the landscape rather than an imposition on it. We used exposed concrete and brick, allowing the structure to weather and age gracefully with its surroundings.
