When I was building Maska, creating a happy, non-toxic kitchen was my priority. This video is a tribute to my incredible team, who believe in Maska as much as I do and bring so much joy and energy to their work.
As Maska turns two, I'm looking back at all the memories. The thing that makes me proudest is the community we've built with our team and our guests. Thank you for all the love and support.

The real magic happens behind the scenes. When I started Maska, my priority was building a happy kitchen—one with a strict no-toxicity policy. It’s why you might catch the team giggling at midnight while prepping orders; they believe in Maska as much as I do, and that energy is the secret ingredient in every bake.
Building Maska has been a two-year journey of love, imagination, and a fair amount of Bombay madness. We are not just a bakery; we are a community. From our humble beginnings to the 223 unique items we have created, the core of everything remains the same: the people.
Our kitchen is our happy place. I hire for attitude and vibe, not just skill. This is why you will find a team that leans on each other, shares meals during long festival shifts, and genuinely cares about the final product that reaches your table. Whether we are hand-drawing details on an Art Deco cake or packing Diwali hampers, the laughter in our kitchen is constant.
We love being part of your festive moments, big or small. As we say, 'Tilgul ghya goad goad bola'—take sweets and speak sweetly. That is the philosophy we live by, whether we are managing a complex order or just chatting with regulars at a pop-up. Thank you for being part of this ride with us.
