About A Bombay-Style Diwali
Our Diwali menu isn't about traditional mithai; it is about the flavours we grew up with, reimagined for modern tables. Whether it is our flaky puff pastry gujiyas filled with chocolate walnut fudge or our Bombay Kaju Krunchy bar made with spicy sev, these treats are built for grazing tables and heartfelt gifting.
At Maska Bakery, Diwali is our favourite time to get creative in the kitchen. We approach the festival with a simple goal: take the flavours that define our city and our childhood memories, and give them a fresh, modern form.
For this year's collection, we spent weeks tinkering with recipes. You will find our take on Lonavala fudge, now reimagined as rich 54% dark chocolate bonbons filled with berry compote or a unique coconut-curry leaf caramel. We also tackled the classic gujiya, ditching the heavy dough for a buttery, flaky puff pastry. We fill these with either chocolate walnut fudge or a savoury matar mix, perfect for those who want a break from the sugar rush.
If you are hosting a card party or a festive dinner in Mumbai, our menu is designed to make it effortless. We offer custom gifting boxes that feature our Nankhatai, Mawa Madeleines, and spiced cheese twists, all packed in our signature Teal and Gold-foil boxes. We want your festive spread to be as much about the conversation as the food.
Need help planning your Diwali menu or managing bulk gifting? We are here to help. Reach out to us, and we can guide you through our flavour pairings to make sure your festive moments feel personal and special.
