Seeing the pride in a child's eyes when their own creation comes to life is why we built our maker space. Take a look at the projects our campers have been working on lately.

A proud young builder shows off the rainbow-colored birdhouse he made, standing in front of our signature handprint wall.

This camper is all smiles with his colorful, custom-painted birdhouse. We love seeing the unique creativity each child brings to their project.

The pure joy of creation! This young boy is thrilled with the sail car he built and is ready to race it.

A camper gets down on the floor to test the sail car he built, learning about wind power in the most direct way possible.

This young racer is testing his own sail car, blowing on the sail to understand how wind propulsion works.

After building their cars, it is time to race! The excitement is contagious as the kids cheer on their creations.

Our DIY race car workshop is a hit! The sense of achievement is huge when the kids see the cars they built themselves zoom across the floor.

About this collection

It is not just about the final project; it is about the process. We do not use snap-together kits that take seconds to finish. Every child at my lab uses real, age-appropriate tools to build their own model from scratch, ensuring they understand exactly how the gears, circuits, or structures work before they take it home.

At Little Wings, my goal is to get kids off screens and into the workshop. Whether we are building rubber-powered cars, birdhouses, or robotic arms, the rule is the same: you build it, you take it home. This philosophy forces kids to troubleshoot their own designs. When a car does not roll straight or a circuit fails to light up, they have to debug, adjust, and try again.

The Maker Space Advantage

We keep our batches small, typically 8 to 12 kids. This ensures that every child, whether they are a natural builder or a bit shy about using tools, gets the personal guidance they need. We provide safety goggles and age-appropriate tools like manual drills, clamps, and sanders. It is messy, loud, and incredibly productive.

Projects That Stick

During our 4-week Innovator Summer Camp, kids walk away with over 10 functional models. We cycle through different disciplines:

  • Woodworking: Developing fine motor skills and structural understanding.
  • Aeromodelling: Testing flight dynamics with gliders and stomp rockets.
  • Robotics & Electronics: Introducing logic, sensors, and basic circuits.
  • Mechanical Engineering: Learning about force, wind power, and momentum.

Every project is designed to be a conversation starter at the dinner table. If you want your child to experience the satisfaction of creating something that actually works, we would love to have them in the shop.

Innovation Lab at BEL Layout, VidyaranyapuraStarting ₹900 Per Child / Per Workshop

I'm Rahul, and I started this space because I was that kid who needed to break things to understand how they work. My team and I focus on getting kids away from passive screen time and into our workshop, where building a robot is just the first step.
