About Outdoor & Golden Hour Sessions
My outdoor sessions are entirely play-based, meaning we don’t rush for the perfect pose. Whether we are chasing waves at Aksa Beach or finding a quiet corner in a park, I focus on the candid interactions between you and your kids. If your little one wants to run or collect seashells, we go with the flow, because that is where the real, unscripted connection happens.
The golden hour, that short window of time just before sunset, offers the softest, most flattering light for family portraits. In Mumbai, this means taking our session to the shore. I love shooting at local beaches because the open space gives children the freedom to move, which is when they are most themselves.
My approach is to strip away the pressure of a formal studio environment. I do not do stiff posing. If your child wants to explore the sand, we capture that curiosity. If you are sharing a hug, we document it. This lifestyle approach is perfect for families who want photos that feel like a snapshot of a real day out.
These sessions typically last about 90 minutes. We aim for that sweet spot of light, but I am always prepared to be flexible. Mumbai weather can be unpredictable, and I am used to shifting plans or finding a sheltered spot to ensure we still get those warm, glowing sunset colors. I bring a few light props if needed, but I mostly rely on the natural environment of our city’s coastline to tell your family's unique story. My goal is for you to walk away not just with 15 beautiful images, but with the memory of a fun afternoon spent together as a family.
