While my studio in Goregaon West is fully equipped for controlled shoots, there is something magical about letting children explore an open space. Whether it is a lush garden or a quiet stretch of Mumbai beach, outdoor sessions allow for movement and play that I cannot replicate indoors. Your child gets to run, explore, and be themselves, which helps me capture those genuine, candid expressions.
The Golden Hour Advantage
I schedule all outdoor shoots during the golden hour, either just after sunrise or right before sunset. This is the only time to get that soft, warm light that makes skin tones glow and eliminates harsh shadows. It also creates a serene, dreamlike backdrop for family portraits. Since we are shooting in public or semi-public spaces, this timing also ensures we avoid the midday crowds.

I am based in Goregaon and regularly travel to various locations across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. Popular choices include the coastal stretches for that classic beach vibe or quiet, well-maintained gardens for a rustic, earthy feel. Tips for a Stress-Free Session
Outdoor shoots are more dynamic than studio sessions, so preparation is key. I recommend dressing in layers so you can adjust to the breeze. Since these are active sessions, wear comfortable footwear that you don’t mind getting a little sand or grass on. Don't worry about the kids getting messy or distracted; I have 7 years of experience working with all kinds of baby moods and energy levels. My goal is to keep it fun for everyone so you walk away with memories, not just photos.
