About this collection

Our storytelling isn't static—we actively adapt our performance to the energy of the room. Whether we’re in a theatre or an intimate gallery, we blend live video projections, handcrafted puppets, and acoustic scores so the audience feels like they're inside the story rather than just watching it.

Buried Treasures is more than a show; it is an exploration of our shared human history through the lens of music and fable. We take classic stories—think Aesop, La Fontaine, Jataka tales, and Rabindranath Tagore—and reshape them into a contemporary musical experience.

Our ensemble doesn't just act; we perform a live dialogue. You will hear Hindustani classical vocals meeting Western Baroque instrumentation, all supported by a multidisciplinary cast of six artists. We use shadow puppetry, video animation, and physical theatre to strip away the distance between the stage and the audience.

We love keeping things fresh. Because our cast includes singers, composers, and puppeteers, no two performances are identical. We often improvise based on the setting, making each show a unique conversation.

What to expect at your venue: To do justice to our shadow play and video projections, we need a venue that can be effectively darkened. We bring our own puppets (including our friend Mritunjoy) and technical gear, but we do require a minimum stage space of roughly 20ft by 15ft. We are equally at home in established cultural centres, galleries, or schools. After every show, we stick around—we find the best part is often the chat we have with the audience once the music stops.
