About The Art of Kata: Synchronized Discipline

When we drill Kata, we don’t just move our hands and feet. We move as one. I guide sessions with the rhythm of drums to help students feel the timing. Whether you are a beginner learning your first stance or a black belt perfecting your form, practicing in a large group teaches you a level of focus you simply cannot find when training alone.
