Flexibility & Body Control Training
Flexibility is not just about bending; it is about training your body to be like water—strong yet adaptable. I help students of all ages build this control through safe, progressive drills.
The standing split is a testament to advanced flexibility and balance. This level of control is a goal we work towards to enhance kicking ability and overall physical health.
Suspension straps are a great tool for safely achieving deep stretches. This exercise is excellent for opening the hips and developing the flexibility needed for high kicks.
This shows that with the right techniques and a positive environment, even challenging flexibility goals can be a fun part of the fitness journey.
Progressive stretching is key to avoiding injury. Here, we use blocks to help a student safely increase the depth of his split, building flexibility over time.

Body control is more than just flexibility. Gymnastic skills like the handstand are part of my training to build core stability and upper body strength.
About Flexibility & Body Control
We do not just stretch; we build a foundation. Whether you are using blocks to safely go deeper into a split or suspension straps to open up tight hips, the goal is always the same, steady progress without injury. I watch every movement closely because true flexibility comes from control, not force.
Many people think flexibility is only for dancers or gymnasts, but in Shaolin Kung Fu, it is the base of everything. If your body is stiff, your movements become limited. My training is about teaching you to master your own body weight before anything else.
We start with the basics, warm-ups that get the blood flowing and joint mobility drills that keep you safe. We use tools like yoga blocks and suspension trainers not to rush you, but to give you support so you can hold positions longer and breathe through the discomfort. When you hold a split or a handstand, you are not just stretching muscles; you are training your mind to stay calm under pressure.
I train students in Vasant Vihar, from kids who want to learn fun gymnastic skills to adults who want better posture and pain relief. For kids, we mix these exercises with games so they stay interested. For adults, it is about functional strength, moving well so you can stay active for years. Whether you want to master a high kick or just want to touch your toes without pain, this is where we build that base. YaRabby Help Ya Allah.
