Cricket Fielding, Fitness & Agility Training in Mumbai
Catches win matches. We build fielders who don't just stop the ball—they dominate it. From beach-based agility drills to high-intensity reflex training, our conditioning sessions are built for serious cricketers.
A test of reflexes, stamina, and control. This back-to-back beach catching drill pushes players to maintain focus and agility even when fatigued.
Sand, sweat, and speed. Every dive in the sand builds explosive strength, and every catch sharpens reflexes, making our players formidable fielders.
Training on the beach with a Katchet board creates unpredictable deflections, forcing players to build fast reflexes and body control under pressure.
Reflex mode: ON. Using a rebound catching net on the beach sharpens reflexes, improves hand speed, and enhances focus in a challenging environment.
Beach work is real work. Under the watchful eye of a coach, players work on reading the ball early and committing to the dive, building match-winning fielding habits.
The triple threat on sand. This drill involves three balls from three points, forcing players to react fast and stay locked in under high pressure.
Sandy grabs and tennis snaps. Using a lighter tennis ball on soft sand makes this catching drill a serious test of reflexes and hand speed.
About this collection
Unlike standard academy training, we take our drills to the sand. Training on an unpredictable surface forces you to read the ball early, commit to the dive, and build explosive strength. It is not about doing 100 reps; it is about doing every single rep with the absolute focus required in the final over of a close match.
Why Beach Training?
If you want to be a complete cricketer, you cannot train only on flat, predictable surfaces. The sand provides a unique resistance that makes every movement harder. When you run or dive on the beach at our Chembur and Sion training locations, your body has to work twice as hard to maintain balance and generate power. This builds the explosive strength required for that sprint to the boundary or that split-second dive to take a catch.
The K-Pro Fielding Protocol
We don't believe in passive practice. Every drill in this cluster is designed to simulate match pressure. We use several specialized aids to keep the intensity high:
- Katchet Boards & Rebound Nets: We use these to create unpredictable deflections. You never know exactly how the ball will bounce or spin, forcing you to keep your eyes locked in, your hands fast, and your body ready to react.
- Back-to-Back Agility Drills: We run high-frequency drills where you have to move between three points continuously. This kills fatigue and builds the mental grit to stay sharp even when your lungs are burning.
- Tennis Ball Snaps: By working with lighter, faster balls on soft sand, we sharpen hand speed and reaction time. If you can catch in these conditions, match-day fielding feels significantly easier.
Conditioning for the Modern Game
Fitness in cricket is non-negotiable. Whether you are prepping for the Mumbai T20 League or looking to make your school team, our regime focuses on core stability, lower-body power, and forearm strength. We train you to stay in the game for the full 50 overs without a drop in intensity. This isn't just about losing weight or building muscle; it is about building a body that can execute a perfect dive without hesitation.
K-Pro Cricket Academy
I am Sandeep Kunchikor, and for me, cricket is pure mohabbat. At K-Pro, we do not just watch players hit balls; we build athletes who can dive, chase, and hold onto everything. This is not a place for casuals—it is where we grind, correct, and repeat until the skills become second nature.
