Cricket is a long game. My program focuses on core technique and the mental toughness needed for junior players, backed by patient, involved parents.

Our young champions working hard in the nets. We focus on building a strong technical foundation from an early age, ensuring they develop good habits that will last their entire career.

A young student demonstrates the sweep shot during a net session. We break down complex shots into simple, repeatable steps so that even our youngest players can master them.

Aaradhya, an 11-year-old batting prodigy, showing excellent technique. Her focus and dedication during practice are an inspiration, and we are excited to see her grow.

A young leg-spinner in action during a net session. We work on the fine details of the action to help our bowlers develop control and turn from the very beginning.

Hands-on instruction with a young bowler, correcting his arm position and body mechanics. Personal attention is key to rectifying technical flaws early on.

A young bowler executes a delivery perfectly after some guidance. That "Superb" is the encouragement that builds a player's confidence.

Breaking down the bowling action step-by-step for a junior player. We use simple drills to build muscle memory for a smooth, repeatable delivery.

Correcting a young bowler's jump and follow-through. It is crucial to eliminate unnecessary movements to create an efficient and powerful bowling action.

Working on a young bowler's jump at the crease. Small adjustments like this can make a big difference in a bowler's rhythm and consistency.

About Nurturing Future Stars: Junior Cricket Program

Look, cricket is a long game. Real skill doesn't come from one fancy shot but from ten years of consistent practice. In our junior program, we don't just teach batting stances or bowling grips; we focus on the mental resilience needed to handle pressure. If your child is ready to put in the honest hours, and you are ready to be the patient partner they need, we are here to guide them.

Success in cricket is not overnight. Whether your child is picking up a bat for the first time or looking to refine their bowling action, the approach remains the same. My junior coaching program at Kkalpavriksha focuses on small, repeatable drills that build muscle memory over time. Pressure toh rehne hi wala hai (Pressure always exists), so we simulate real match situations early on. We don't just teach kids how to hit the ball; we teach them how to think about the game.

Why Our Training Methods Work

  • Technical Basics: We spend time on head position, shoulder alignment, and hand-eye coordination. It is boring work sometimes, but it is necessary.
  • Mental Conditioning: I encourage our juniors to keep a performance diary. Writing down their feelings and plans helps them stay clear-headed when they walk out to the pitch.
  • Adaptation: We use different types of balls and conditions to ensure they aren't just comfortable in one environment. A player who can only hit on a perfect turf wicket isn't ready for a real match.

The Role of Parents

I always tell parents, have 10 years of patience. A child will have days when they get out on a zero, and days when they score a century. Your support should remain constant regardless of the scoreboard. We often run informal chats to help parents understand how to keep the home environment positive and pressure-free.

Where We Train

Our clinic is based in Bandra East, but I work with players from Shivaji Park and across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. Whether you are looking for weekend group sessions or focused 1-on-1 time for specific corrections, we have a structure to support your child's journey. Let us stop looking for shortcuts and start focusing on the long-term game.

Hi, I am Prashant Shetty. I have coached names like Prithvi Shaw and Jemimah Rodrigues from their early days, and one thing is clear: greatness takes time. My clinic isn't a factory for shortcuts; it is a place where we strip down technique to the basics and build a kid's mental game from scratch.
